Based on the extensive analysis of the results of the 13th European EUROPAN session, and on the portrait of participating cities, the authors of the article define the common traits of emerging urban challanges in terms of Strategic territorial conditions, and design approaches and methodologies. They define a cartography of controverses in order to deliver a 360° analysis of the European production.
