This study is aimed to update the presence of non-indigenous species in the Sacca of Goro. Data were collected during three sampling campaigns performed in January 2015, June 2017 and October 2017. All the components of the benthic community were identified to species level. Over the 2-yrs sampling period, we found 16 non-indigenous species (NIS) on a total of 93 taxa gathered. Based on the collected data, a list of the alien species found was drawn up, highlighting if the species were found in one, two or all the three samplings. The annelids, with 27.6% of alien species out of the total of 29 species sampled, show the highest number of NIS, followed by molluscs (22,2%) and crustaceans (12.9%).
