This study aimed to conduct a preliminary research to develop a product for skin wound healing. This system derived from the combination of calcium alginate and viable cells (fibroblasts). Commercial products are available for skin regeneration, made of biomaterials and fibroblasts (or other cells, e.g. keratinocytes). Here, a simple device, easy and fast to manufacture immediately prior to use was sought.
