Variations of FV biological functions deriving from gene variations, and from their dynamic interactions with other genetic and environmental factors, will be studied to define associations and susceptibility to cardiovascular diseases. Spectra of loss-of-function and gain -of-function mutations will be investigated thus elucidating FV- related hemorrhagic and prothrombotic components. We will explore the hypothesis that multiple genetic variations that concomitantly alter the FV biological function may interact synergistically.

Abstract
Variations of FV biological functions deriving from gene variations, and from their dynamic interactions with other genetic and environmental factors, will be studied to define associations and susceptibility to cardiovascular diseases. Spectra of loss-of-function and gain -of-function mutations will be investigated thus elucidating FV- related hemorrhagic and prothrombotic components. We will explore the hypothesis that multiple genetic variations that concomitantly alter the FV biological function may interact synergistically.File in questo prodotto:
