China’s economic development provides new opportunities for international companies aiming to expand in new markets pursuing increasing sales, lower cost of production and access to competences. However, while a large number of studies provide detailed analysis of Chinese market entry and development by foreign manufacturing companies, very little is known about strategies and organizational choices of foreign professional services firms (PSF) while expanding in this market. Therefore this paper aims to explore business strategies and organizational choices of foreign PSF developing a presence in the Chinese market.
