The study examines the potentiality of measuring the electrical resistivity for characterizing the quality of some concrete samples, by critically comparing other physical parameters. The application field is then to modern and contemporary constructions, with the intent to extend them to buildings of historical and artistic value. The approach adopted for the analysis was the so-called Design of Experiment (DoE), a statistical technique which is common in the industrial field, especially in chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry. This technique is very promising for characterizing multiphase materials, such as those making up manufactured products, whose quality (associated with their state of preservation) depends on the influence of individual and/or multiple factors at various levels.

Abstract
The study examines the potentiality of measuring the electrical resistivity for characterizing the quality of some concrete samples, by critically comparing other physical parameters. The application field is then to modern and contemporary constructions, with the intent to extend them to buildings of historical and artistic value. The approach adopted for the analysis was the so-called Design of Experiment (DoE), a statistical technique which is common in the industrial field, especially in chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry. This technique is very promising for characterizing multiphase materials, such as those making up manufactured products, whose quality (associated with their state of preservation) depends on the influence of individual and/or multiple factors at various levels.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
