In the design of highly linear and efficient Power amplifiers, electron device modeling methods are required. When dealing with advanced methods of device modeling, the necessary specific instrumentation is not always available in many Labs. Therefore, the idea is to make use of commercial CAD simulators, like MWOffice or ADS, for this purpose. Three useful implementations have been carried out on both time and frequency domain. They cover the aspects of “High Order Derivatives Extraction”, “Pulsed I-V measurements” and “Pulsed Scattering measurements”.
