The two-day field trip B of IGCP n° 256 Working Group visits eight localities, from Shkopet to Peshkopi. The first-day trip is through the mafic-ultramafic ophiolitic complexes of Skanderberg and Bulqiza, from the western contact with Triassic platform limestones to the Paleozoic terrains in the East. The second-day trip is devoted to the study of the Bulqiza Ultramafic Massif and its important chromite ore deposits.
