A new occurrence of Albanerpeton pannonicus is reported from a fissure infill of late Villanyian (late Pliocene or early Pleistocene according to the new chronology) (MN 17) at Rivoli Veronese, in northeastern Italy. These fossils represent the geologically youngest record for Albanerpeton and the Albanerpetontidae as a whole and they extend the geographical range of Albanerpeton south of the Alps.
