A circulating corrosion loop for inhibitor testing in acid solutions is described. The only metallic parts of the loop consist of tube specimens and electrodes for potential measurements and "in situ" polarization curve recordings. This loop allows testings at various flow velocities and temperatures, by using organic and inorganic acid solutions in the absence and presence of corrosion inhibitors. The results obtained under various experimental conditions are presented and discussed.

Abstract
A circulating corrosion loop for inhibitor testing in acid solutions is described. The only metallic parts of the loop consist of tube specimens and electrodes for potential measurements and "in situ" polarization curve recordings. This loop allows testings at various flow velocities and temperatures, by using organic and inorganic acid solutions in the absence and presence of corrosion inhibitors. The results obtained under various experimental conditions are presented and discussed.File in questo prodotto:
