Let's Talk Business! Useful Expressions and Practical Advice for Communicating in English

The course Let’s Talk Business addresses people working or intending to work in international business. It focuses on phonological skills (listening comprehension and speaking) for an intermediate or upper intermediate level. The particularity of Let’s Talk Business is that, unlike other courses, it is tailored for individual learning. As such, it stresses the importance of developing confidence in speaking English, improvement of fluency and spontaneity, as well as the use of a wide variety of key words, idioms, expressions and formal/informal communication styles relevant for various business settings: socializing, telephoning, meetings, presentations, negotiations, organizations. The exercises also give practical advice for effective communication in business situations and offer solutions to handling various situations.
