We analyzed the data of a recent geodetic survey made in the Phlegrean Field. We calculated the surficial dilation, the maximum shear stress and the rotation and the contraction of the crust. Moreover, we present a map with the superficial trajectories of the stress of the area. The main conclusion is that all the studied physical phenomena show an elliptical pattern that it is likely associated with a superficial inflating magmatic chamber.
