From the meso- and macro-structural analysis and from the stratigraphic analysis, along the Corfù Transcurrent System, the space orientation of the stress ellipsoid and the age of the different tectonic phases have been reconstructed. The results document the occurrence of a Burdigalian ENE-trending compressional phase and more than one neotectonic mainly transcurrent events (Pliocene-Quaternary) with sigma1 oriented NE-SW.
