Utilizing data samples of electron-positron collisions recorded with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.28 fb-1, we report the first search for the CP-forbidden process e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow \psi \left(3773\right)\rightarrow D^{0}{\bar{D}}^{0}\rightarrow \left(K_{S}^{0}{\pi }^{0}\right)\left(K_{S}^{0}{\pi }^{0}\right). No significant signal is observed. We set an upper limit on the observed cross section of 7.37 fb and an upper limit on the joint branching fraction of the C-odd correlated neutral D-meson pair, \mathcal{B}\left[{\left(D^{0}{\bar{D}}^{0}\right)}_{C\text{-odd}}\rightarrow \left(K_{S}^{0}{\pi }^{0}\right)\left(K_{S}^{0}{\pi }^{0}\right)\right]\lt 2.04\times {10}^{-6}, at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract
We set an upper limit on the observed cross section of 7.37 fb and an upper limit on the joint branching fraction of the C-odd correlated neutral D-meson pair, \mathcal{B}\left[{\left(D^{0}{\bar{D}}^{0}\right)}_{C\text{-odd}}\rightarrow \left(K_{S}^{0}{\pi }^{0}\right)\left(K_{S}^{0}{\pi }^{0}\right)\right]\lt 2.04\times {10}^{-6}, at the 90% confidence level.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
