X-ray Computed Tomography (CT) has emerged as a pivotal non-destructive technique in the field of Cultural Herit-age diagnostics, offering 3D insights into the internal structures of a wide variety of historical and archaeological objects. The primary goal of our research is to enhance the preservation and restoration of cultural heritage by developing and implementing advanced CT systems specifically tailored to address the diverse characteristics of cultural artifacts. Our X-ray imaging group has successfully developed two compact and transportable CT setups designed for both on-site and laboratory analysis of artworks and archaeological artifacts, each operating at different resolutions to suit varying diag-nostic needs.
