The aim of the Public Engagement project of the University of Ferrara entitled “Percepire, comprendere e comunicare i luoghi storici della meteorologia ferrarese attraverso la multisensorialità” is to present places and protagonists of the history of meteorology in Ferrara to a non-specialist public, with a specific emphasis on creating an immersive experience via multi-sensory activities. This paper focuses both on the history of meteorology in Ferrara and on the methodologies designed to present this story, together with the description of their results (a video, a tactile map, a concert, seminars, cultural events and workshops.)
