The international award after the damages

The After the Damages International Award is linked to the international academy After the Damages, an initiative aimed at increasing both the resilience capacity (natural and anthropic) and the mitigating and management aspects in case of catastrophic or calamitous events. The Award was conceived to disseminate projects, strategies, and achievements in the field of architecture, engineering, public management, and application in the field, which were able to interpret the complex topic of emergency, prevention, management and risk mitigation. This essay explores the two competition that were held in 2021 and 2022, with a total participation of more than 40 candidates dealing with significant contributions in the field of environmental protection, specifically addressing the prevention and remediation of environmental damages. The award would like to emphasizes sustainable practices and innovative solutions to environmental challenges that affect also Cultural Heritage.
