The majority of educational institutions use only the traditional methods of learning, mentioning here the face-to-face lectures in a classroom. The situation caused by Covid-19 influenced also the education field and obliged teachers to change their teaching methods into online ones. From this point of view, there are many challenges related to online teaching and online learning on the other hand. The influence of technology on this process had remarkable effects. This study identifies the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning and also its challenges, in terms of technological impacts. A number of students from different Universities in Albania took part in the questionnaire and these results can help the universities to invest more in their infrastructure in order to offer students better conditions to attend online lessons.
