The paper derives from the considerations elaborated during our master's thesis, developed between 2019-2020, concerning the church and monastery of San Giorgio Transpadano in Ferrara, which tried to deepen the critical knowledge of the complex identifying, in particular, its textual and conservative peculiarities. An investigation of the architectural surfaces of the wall curtain and of the terracotta ornaments was closely carried out, combined with historical research and a reading in relation to the urban context, to identify and date some unknown details related to the finishes of the facades, which, particularly when related to other Ferrara case studies, are exemplary in attesting to the evolution of taste and construction techniques from the Renaissance to the modern age.

Abstract
The paper derives from the considerations elaborated during our master's thesis, developed between 2019-2020, concerning the church and monastery of San Giorgio Transpadano in Ferrara, which tried to deepen the critical knowledge of the complex identifying, in particular, its textual and conservative peculiarities. An investigation of the architectural surfaces of the wall curtain and of the terracotta ornaments was closely carried out, combined with historical research and a reading in relation to the urban context, to identify and date some unknown details related to the finishes of the facades, which, particularly when related to other Ferrara case studies, are exemplary in attesting to the evolution of taste and construction techniques from the Renaissance to the modern age.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
