the Common Database of EU agencies’ Boards of Appeal aims at establishing a single, free, open-access online database collecting the decisions delivered by all Boards of Appeal, as well as those of the EU Judges (General Court and Court of Justice) on appeal of the former (for further details on the methodology, see here). The Common Database is developed taking into account also the needs of the practitioners, so as to have a tool that could actually bring an added value not only within the academic community, but also at institutional and professional level. The Common Database will in no way substitute the existing databases / tools for research and the decisions listed therein will have no formal legal value. Its aim is to offer an extra tool for research, for the sake of monitoring this underexplored side of the EU system of judicial protection as well as for comparing how different bodies deal with similar legal and procedural issues.

Abstract

the Common Database of EU agencies’ Boards of Appeal aims at establishing a single, free, open-access online database collecting the decisions delivered by all Boards of Appeal, as well as those of the EU Judges (General Court and Court of Justice) on appeal of the former (for further details on the methodology, see here).
