There is a visible and intangible cultural heritage, traceable in works of architecture, archeological sites and artistic manifestation, that is strongly connected to the evolution of scientific thought of an astronomical nature. Through the elaboration of abstract thought, geometry and drawing have powerfully contributed to the development of the ability to measure time, to understand the movement of celestial bodies in space and to represent them on earth. The series aims to be a place for reflection of the various disciplines in the development of knowledge. The publication of each research is subject to acceptance by the scientific committee and each contribution is subject to blind review.

Esiste un patrimonio culturale visibile e intangibile, rintracciabile in opere di architettura, siti archeologici e manifestazioni artistiche, fortemente connesso all’evoluzione del pensiero scientifico di carattere astronomico. La geometria e il disegno, attraverso l’elaborazione del pensiero astratto, hanno contribuito potentemente allo sviluppo delle capacità di misurare il tempo, di comprendere il movimento dei corpi celesti nello spazio e di rappresentarli in terra. La collana vuole essere luogo di riflessione delle varie discipline nello sviluppo di questi ambiti della conoscenza. La pubblicazione di ogni ricerca è subordinata all’accettazione da parte del comitato scientifico e ogni contributo è sottoposto a revisione cieca.
