"Mannheim's Connection" is the winning project of Europan 12 in Mannheim, an international competition allowing teams to build urban strategies. The project concerns the konversion of 200Ha of former US barracks to be aquired by the city of Mannheim, and the tranformation of a urban Highway (B-38) into a Urban green Boulevard. The project was aquired by the city and from 2013 to 2023 the 200Ha have been transformed and the B38 land aquired for a future transformation.
