This topic belongs to one of the activities of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Technical Committee on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety of Technical Processes-SAFEPROCESS (TC6.4). The main subjects covered by this special issue are fault-tolerant control, maintenance and fault diagnosis of various technical processes.
