Abstract
The urban evolution towards Smart (3.0) models seeks increasingly innovative design approaches in addition to the consolidated use of cutting-edge sustainable technological solutions, Smart Grids and new Digital Tools for Building Management. The article aims to analyse the characteristics of an urban regeneration plan nearing completion developed, in large part, on disused city industrial areas. Thanks to the proximity and recent completion of new electric tram lines and intermodal surface transport systems to connect with the city of Nice, it aspires to become the prototype of a new model of sustainable and smart urban development in the French city. The distinctive feature of this model is the presence of a functional mix including the Smart City Innovation Centre (SCIC) as well as student halls of residence, offices and prestigious residences.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
