The purpose of this paper is focused on analysis of the implementation of problem solving and argumentation processes in game theory activities. In particular, we studied the ef- fectiveness of groupwork solution processes and the planning of strategies to solve the tasks. Moreover, we studied group and individual performances. It was possible to highlight how col- lective work can help produce a better performance and how it influences the emotions of stu- dents. Collective activities make it possible to build a shared knowledge and to support the de- velopment of individual metacognition.
