Francesco Maria Nigrisoli’s “Pharmacopea ferrariensis” “De looch, rhoob, rotulis, tabellis, & morsellis?” Let’s read a pharmacopoeia of the eighteenth century Francesco Maria Nigrisoli’s Pharmacopea ferrariensis is a pharmacopoeia of the eighteenth century that we analysed in our research. It is an official pharmacopoeia which precedes the Farmacopea Ferrarese by Antonio Campana (1798-99). It was written in Latin and it presents a classification (“XII classi”) of the various galenic preparations. In addition to a specific dictionary, the Ricettario fiorentino (1696-1798 editions) was used as reference in the reading of the galenics for the didactic purposes of our course “Storia della Farmacia e del Farmaco”.
