Subconjuctival fat prolapse is a rare pathology supported by intra ed extraconal fat herniation through a defect of integrity of the Tenon's capsule. Trauma and flogosis of Tenon's capsule may result in extrusion of intraconal fat in the subconjunctival space. The occurrence of bilateral orbital fat prolapse has been described in patients with autosomal recessive cutis laxa ( generalized elastolysis ). The Authors report a case, in a 70-yesr old patient, of bilateral fat prolapse beneath the lateral bulbar conjunctiva of the globes limiting lateral vision. Surgical technique was conservative with recovery of function and aesthetics.
