Abstract

Translation, as a transpositional procedure that offers a structurally close look at the text, seems to be a preferential observatory for investigating and understanding the structured writing process. In this article, the translator's work has highlighted some of the most significant characteristics of a specific literary genre: rewriting. In particular, the procedures implemented by Amélie Nothomb for her rewriting of two famous tales by Charles Perrault and the Gospels, texts recently translated into Italian, have been analyzed.
