Quanto conviene essere cattivi in comunità? [How worthwhile to be bad into residential care?]

The article presents the results produced by an intervention-research conducted in a residential community for adolescents located in the northern Italy. The transcriptions of six educational meetings were analyzed, which amount to a total of 22 hours and 27 minutes. The purpose of the survey is to understand the relevance and the amount of the topic discussed by the educators during the meetings in relation to the ability to maintain a balanced attention on all the cases taken in charge. The results show how the attention placed by educators in the residential care does not follow the logic of fair distribution, but refers to the priority attributed to the management of conflict and the oppositive/transgressive behaviors implemented by adolescents.

L’articolo presenta i risultati di una ricerca-intervento condotta in una comunità che accoglie adolescenti del Nord Italia. Sono state analizzate le trascrizioni relative a sei incontri di équipe educativa, che ammontano a un totale di 22 ore e 27 minuti. Lo scopo dell’indagine è quello di comprendere la rilevanza e la quantità dei topic argomentati da parte degli educatori durante le riunioni in relazione alla capacità di mantenere un’attenzione equilibrata su tutti i casi presi in carico. I risultati mostrano che l’attenzione riposta dagli educatori nelle comunità non segue logiche di equa distribuzione ma è connessa alla priorità attribuita alla gestione del conflitto e dei comportamenti oppositivi/trasgressivi messi in atto dalle adolescenti.
