In November 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Macrocrimes Centre organised a series of online seminars on one of the main issues affecting the implementation of rights on a global scale today, with reference to the dialogue between legal heritages and cultural traditions. The lecturer was Yadh Ben Achour, a world-renowned intellectual and jurist, who gave six lectures on The Islamic Question before the United Nations Human Rights Committee, of which this volume contains a richly reworked version.
