Climate change involves variations in physical, economic and social conditions and landscape is directly impacted by them. Tourist preparatory requirements are tightly connected with landscape state and economic success, to a territorial transformation, whether artificial or natural, corresponds to a variation to the tourist attractiveness. Italian regional climate change adaptation strategies recommend multiple objectives based on indirect actions. We apply and integrate these strategies focusing on Emilia-Romagna coast which is highly exposed to climate change risk, in particular we refer to the Ravenna’s Climate change adaptation plan that was produced by the Sealine Research Centre turning actions and conclusions into tourist perspective. The aim of this work is to propose a new process in order to obtain designed coastal areas which are simultaneously resilient to climate change and tourist attractiveness.
