In the context of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the increased use of personal protective equipment, such as face masks and gloves, and frequency of hand sanitation with alcohol-based products have been associated with sever al skin problems such as irritan t contact dermatitis and the flare-up of previous dermatoses like rosacea and acne. We report an unusual case of contact urticari a in a young girl, triggered by the use of surgical masks.
