Machine Learning e costruzione della conoscenza. Epistemologia ed etica nell’intelligenza artificiale [Machine Learning and Knowledge Building. Epistemology and ethics in artificial intelligence]

In the realization that we cannot ignore that we live in what is called the infosphere, an environment in which the boundaries between the online life and the offline life in the reality of relationships, gradually disappear, this work wants to reflect on how this new environment makes it necessary to intelligent data analysis. An intelligent analysis that brings effective use of machine learning and machine learning in training and educational contexts. In particular, the reflection is intended to be a critical recognition and systematization of the lines of thought and application practices of this branch of artificial intelligence. An intelligence that is declined, as in Piaget's thought, as a form of adaptation to the environment, a support for a mind that builds structures of reality. The lines underlying the work are those of an epistemology of artificial intelligence, which produces a form of knowledge from the relationship between information.

Nella constatazione che non si può ignorare che viviamo in quella che viene definita infosfera, un ambiente in cui i confini tra la vita online della vita offline nella realtà dei rapporti tendono progressivamente a sparire, questo lavoro vuole riflettere su come questo nuovo ambiente rende necessario una analisi intelligente dei dati. Un analisi intelligente che porta a un utilizzo efficace del machine learning e dell’apprendimento automatico nei contesti formativi e educativi. In particolar la riflessione vuole essere una ricognizione per proporre un sistematizzazione critica delle linee di pensiero e delle prassi applicative di questa branca dell’intelligenza artificiale. Una intelligenza che si declina, come nel pensiero di Piaget, come forma di adattamento all'ambiente, a supporto di una mente che costruisce strutture del reale. Le linee che sottendono il lavoro sono quelle di una epistemologia dell’intelligenza artificiale, che produce una forma di conoscenza dalle relazione tra informazioni.
