Tirana, the missed city, is an attempt to understand today's Tirana through the history of its plans and projects from the beginning of the last century until the collapse of the dictatorship in the early 90s. The book describes projects that were fully or partially implemented, and also some other projects that could never come to light. In this regard the book analyzes the big transformation under the monarchy period, Italian fascist occupation, and under the communist dictatorship. One of the most important points of the book is that the book makes you think and speculate what Tirana would have been if some of the projects had been implemented.
