In the following work, it is explained a perturb and observe algorithm implemented for permanent magnet synchronous generator maximum power point tracking control. This algorithm tracks for the optimum operation point and provides fast response. The system develops the tracking using real time measurements and provides maximum power to the grid without using online data training. The system has been simulated in MATLAB to verify the functionality. Simulation results indicate an efficient performance of the algorithm for low inertial generators.
