The restoration site

A restoration site such as the Basilica of the Nativity, due to its complexity and the number of operators involved, can be compared in some way to the large work sites of the Gothic-Renaissance Cathedrals. In all the stages of the restoration process, from the preliminary analyses until the completion of the interventions, the site was considered extremely delicate and fragile, such as to be treated with great care and by experienced and specialized teams only. The preservation of the authenticity of the Church of the Nativity and the transfer of its universal value to future generations were always taken into account in all the work stages.
