The chapter analyses the process of integration by housing policies in European context. Some specific issue are significant, in particular, the settlement of migrant groups is characterized by insertion in the popular neighbourhoods with the problem of possible ethnic segregation. The urban policies realized in most part of Europe shows that social cohesion and anti-segregation programme are the most important issue. Also, the social mix appears one significant tool for improving the quality of life of multiethnic areas.
