Survey and representation techniques applied to educational experiences within Indian Cultural Heritage become tools for improving the skills of students and local authorities. The paper is focused on educational and research involvements that result in the representation of the project at different scales through digital technologies and methodologies. The aim of this essay is to present some case studies’ analysis of Indian Cultural Heritage through drawing techniques and digital tools toward the improvement of skills of both local students and public bodies. The project has been implemented over a period of five years (2012-2017) as a collaboration between the University of Ferrara (Italy) and Indian institutions such as CEPT University of Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and the Mehrangarh Museum Trust in Jodhpur (Rajasthan). All the activities were carried out with the support of the Municipalities of the two cities.
