The political and social reflections of young Deleuze seem to be characterized by an attempt to free itself from an analytical model considered obsolete, the European-style “classic” (or “modern”) as is shown in traditional authors such as Hobbes, Locke and Rousseau , that focuses on the centrality of the paradigms of the contract, and the sovereignty of the law, to identify those instances materials that act concretely in social processes, and determining their evolution. The challenge that he throws is, therefore, to rethink the creativity of social and, simultaneously, to imagine alternative institutions. To do this he moves in search of a dynamic analysis, which takes into account the factors more specifically inventive and creative acting in and through the social field, an analysis, of course, “institutional”, as it was designed and put in the field at the time by Maurice Hauriou, author to whom in his reflections youth Deleuze seems to be particularly close. So it justifies the attempt historical-critical that underlies this contribution: rethinking the model of the institution in its dealings with the real foundation, material, of power, and that is with life itself.
