Abstract

A series of magnetic nanoparticles with different shape and size have been obtained according to some of the most common synthetic techniques: namely by coprecipitation in basic conditions, thermal decomposition from inorganic salts, and thermal decomposition from organometallic compounds. We report the comparison of both their heating and magnetic properties.
