Le lacune urbane: alcune considerazioni sull’eredità della scuola muratoriana

The theme of urban void in historical city should not be confused with the theme about the relationship between old and new architecture or even with relationship between projects about new urban city areas (new parts of town) and historical buildings in historical cities. Rather it’s the redesign of an historical tissue within city parts traumatized by demolitions, random replacements, speculation, war or earthquake destructions. From an operational point of view, the reintegration of urban avoid must be taken of some parameters taken from the observation of urban phenomena that lead to a contemporary act of design resulting by an historical analysis of the past on the one hand and by an analysis phenomenological other. This results in a consonant architecture which is not citationist or allusion and remains authentically a contemporary expression.
