Abstract
I Today the energy efficiency challenge is to implement energy production to have existing stock and urban districts autonomous and low-carbon producers; microgeneration allows to produce locally the whole or a part of the energy needed, thanks to the use of renewable sources: biogas is one. Bio-waste, green waste, sewage, all organic materials are underestimated sources to produce biogas as energy recovery. A new energy economic and social model could take place. From the economic program of the district, through the behaviour of the residents, until the definition of the limits of a biogas production system and its integration with other renewable energy, biogas offers many opportunities. Biogas can create energy independent urban districts where householders become virtuous producers of their energy. Waste becomes a smart source exploited by a microgeneration system able to supply energy and to contribute in a sustainable way to energy European programs.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
