The rate of the background emission in the gamma-ray images is important since it directly influences the quality of the imaged objects. In the laboratory for radiopharmaceuticals and molecular imaging (LARIM) at the National Laboratories of Legnaro, INFN we started series of measurements on the quality of the gamma-ray images, obtained using an 99mTc produced from 100Moenriched molybdenum target referred to as “accelerator-produced 99mTc” or ”AP 99mTc”. The research on this topic is a part of the analysis of the imaging characteristics of AP 99mTc in the framework of the APOTEMA project, funded by CSN5 INFN.

Abstract
The rate of the background emission in the gamma-ray images is important since it directly influences the quality of the imaged objects. In the laboratory for radiopharmaceuticals and molecular imaging (LARIM) at the National Laboratories of Legnaro, INFN we started series of measurements on the quality of the gamma-ray images, obtained using an 99mTc produced from 100Moenriched molybdenum target referred to as “accelerator-produced 99mTc” or ”AP 99mTc”. The research on this topic is a part of the analysis of the imaging characteristics of AP 99mTc in the framework of the APOTEMA project, funded by CSN5 INFN.File in questo prodotto:
