La morte in scena? A proposito di un noto passo della Poetica aristotelica (1452b 10-13 oi en phanerò thánatoi) e della strategia drammaturgica di alcune tragedie del V sec.

The paper focuses the question of “the death on the stage” by analyzing a famous passage of the Aristotle’s Poetics (1452b 10-13). A new interpretation of the passage is proposed and it seems to be confirmed by the plot and/or the ending of some Sophoclean Tragedies (Trachiniae, Electra).

Il presente contributo affronta la questione della cosiddetta “morte in scena” nel famoso passo della Poetica aristotelica (1452b 10-13). Si propone una nuova interpretazione del passo e se ne trova conferma nel finale o nella struttura drammaturgica di alcune tragedie sofoclee (Trachinie, Elettra).
