The Emilia Romagna has entrusted, more than 10 years ago, to Lepida SpA the management of regional telecommunications infrastructures. So the network Lepida was born, as an heterogeneous network that covers the whole region connecting all public administrations. The goal of providing an even higher performance and security to its shareholders, brings the Lepida network to be constantly evolving, constantly looking for improvements and ever more efficient solutions for its end users. In this context, an accurate monitoring of network traffic is of primary importance, in order to proactively detect bottlenecks or anomalies and quickly plan new agreements or configurations that ensure a provision of bandwidth and services in continuous improvement.
