The batteries here reported have improved performance in respect to the state-of-art of solid state lithium/sulfur electrochemical systems. Nevertheless, additional work is certainly needed to further improve the properties of these batteries, especially in terms of cycle life and rate capability. Research activity is in progress in our laboratory to address these aspects.
