This paper proposes a critical review on current phenomen of lifelong learning, as well as it is explained both by scientific educational research and political/economic measures. The analysis starting from the concepts suggested by E. C. Lindeman in its article entitled The Meaning of Adult Learning (1929) and follows his efforts to clarify adult learning in his own educational perspective. This writing is old but not outworn: it presently is very clever and useful to understand the relationship between learning and education. For this reason, herein there are its Italian translation and its main topics and remarks.
