Abstract
The evolution of two different services, a centralized system for storing and viewing multimedia contents and a regional TV channel on digital terrestrial television, has led to an ever increasing convergence between their respective functionalities. This paper discusses their possible merging and how this provides all the basic tools needed to achieve a scenario based on collaborative IPTV schedules, characterized by sharing both uploaded contents and live streams between all registered users. Moreover, a social network will allow a proper assessment of contents through comments and feedbacks, and could also facilitate the communication among the members of the community.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
