Abstract

Nowadays the metropolis does not take shape, it expressed through simulacra; everything is (trans) form in a landscape without form and yet full of images. The condiction of everyday life is a unique and formless city. Globalization has led to the cancellation of the diversity and differences in smooth space, unlimited and always the same, subject to the market influence. The project for the rehabilitation of the Florence’s peripheral area, becomes the moment of verification and analysis of urban theories. The Piagge, is an urban fragment in the urban complex of Florence, marginal place despite being perfectly nestled between historical realities layered and environmental emergencies to be enhanced. The Piagge refers to archetypes of places in the modern world summarizing the condition of life in the suburbs and not only Italian, united by the loss of urban planning, mistaken for social modernity. The district encompasses the spaces between the fragments building untapped potential to bind to the strong supply of green, the large density and efficient public transport network that re-connects the suburbs with the city center of Florence. What remains are the uneven quality of the buildings, unable to meet the needs of contemporary living, the low value of open spaces too large to suffer the most elementary forms of ownership, and a road unfit to govern the cars resource. The analysis of the disease, leads us to consider a new approach to the subject recovery steps to reconsider the urban organism as a body can effectively recover their health through a punctiform stimulation; solitary adverts able to balance a system of relations and mutual relations now completely discordant. We choose to follow the holistic practices interventions chiropractors able to redefine a correct attitude where the priority is to treat the patient in a non-invasive way to generate an innovative approach instead of a universal solution.
