The paper presents a brief overview of the main methods to construct a synthesis of composite indicators measuring the satisfaction with particular aspects of the University system. In particular we present some extensions of the nonparametric combination of dependent rankings. A nonparametric method to construct a composite performance indicator is described. This indicator is useful when performance evaluation is based on the degree of satisfaction of a group of “evaluators”. Using this indicator it is possible to take into consideration the “maximum satisfaction” level and the “minimum satisfaction level”, i.e. the extreme situations on which the observed performance can be compared.

Abstract
The paper presents a brief overview of the main methods to construct a synthesis of composite indicators measuring the satisfaction with particular aspects of the University system. In particular we present some extensions of the nonparametric combination of dependent rankings. A nonparametric method to construct a composite performance indicator is described. This indicator is useful when performance evaluation is based on the degree of satisfaction of a group of “evaluators”. Using this indicator it is possible to take into consideration the “maximum satisfaction” level and the “minimum satisfaction level”, i.e. the extreme situations on which the observed performance can be compared.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
